“Once, for the sake of experiment, be earth! "~ Rumi

Spring is stirring.

Hit reset and love up your body with a day designed to connect and awaken. Through simple movement and time in nature, we’ll release stress, recharge, and build energy for the season ahead.

Somatic pelvic floor work brings deep connection, Yin Yoga opens you gently, Elemental Dance ignites your senses, and Nature Moves* offers unexpected joy. Bring your own lunch—tea’s on us.

* somatic outdoor movement

Day's flow:

10-11 AM: yOni Soma- Somatic Pelvic floor class
Reconnect with your pelvic floor, often the “forgotten” part of exercise. Explore your amazing anatomy, refine your awareness, and learn a simple routine to keep you connected to your feminine wisdom. We’ll end with a soothing womb space meditation.

11-12 PM: Yin Yoga and Tea for the Liver
Relax and unwind with gentle stretches targeting the hips, legs, and pelvis, supporting the liver meridian as it transitions into spring. Luxuriate in stillness and let your body fully release. During the longer poses, take time to draw, journal and sip the tea provided.

12:15-1:15 PM: Elemental Dance
Awaken your body from the inside out with somatic movement, then learn a dance sequence inspired by water. Celebrate sensuality, rhythm, and grace in a way that enlivens you to the core.

1:15-2 Lunch, connect with others, draw, journal and digest.

2-4 PM: Nature Moves
Take your movement practice into nature with a silent walk to a serene grove amongst the beech (Wytham) and the arbutus (Salt Spring). Enjoy a solo movement meditation, journaling, and sharing as we connect deeply with our environment. Conclude with a peaceful return walk.

What Women Are Saying About Spring Rapture:

  • I attended the full day, and it felt like a special treat. The elements were AWESOME. Each practice session was expertly integrated, with a great flow and delightful music. I especially appreciated the nature practice, which felt safe and encouraged us to discover quirky, unexpected ways to connect. It was a memorable day with lovely people, offering new skills, ideas, and creative exploration.

    Keren Wright, Wolvercote, Oxford.

  • Sarah’s class helped me connect with my pelvic floor and body. It was interactive and fun while also offering quiet, inward moments. Her gentle guidance, smooth progression of exercises, and attentiveness to the group made it easy to dive into the practice. I left feeling calm, centered, and present.

    Marie, Salt Spring Island, BC.

  • I’ve taken Sarah’s classes for over 15 years, and the Spring Rapture workshop was a wake-up call. Feeling bogged down by “adult” stuff and depleted as a mom of two, I craved the wild curiosity Sarah brings to body, nature, and movement. The Nature Moves session reconnected me with my inner child and nature in surprising ways. The pelvic floor work and sensual goddess dance left me feeling empowered and restored. Sarah created a playful, gentle, and relaxing space that invited vitality.

    Melanie, Oxford.

  • I came to the retreat after a breakup, hoping to reconnect with myself and reclaim my body. The day helped me find my own sources of strength, from the pelvic floor work to the expressive dance. By the end, I felt my wild, embodied self emerge. The safe space Sarah created and the wisdom shared by others helped me weave these insights into my life. I left feeling confident, connected, reclaiming my strength and power through my body, nature, and community.

    Nicola, Victoria, BC
